Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:\r\nDesign, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across hybrid technology stacks, ensuring secure and automated deployments.Build and maintain container-based architectures using Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.\r\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.\r\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high system availability and performance.\r\nPerform incident management, including root cause analysis, escalation, and after-action reporting.\r\nAutomate operational tasks to reduce toil and streamline workflows, ensuring compliance with federal GSA guidelines and security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA).\r\nCollaborate with application development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to improve system architecture and ensure smooth operations.\r\nIntegrate and leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, Lambda) for flexible and scalable system design.\r\nMonitor and maintain system reliability by tracking error budgets, and balancing feature velocity with system stability.\r\nDeliver operational documentation, including system runbooks, incident reports, and CI/CD architecture diagrams.\r\nSupport modernization efforts by integrating legacy system operations with cloud-native methodologies.QualificationsRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).\r\n3-7 years of experience in DevSecOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles, managing and automating complex applications and systems.\r\nSkilled in CI/CD pipeline design and management, including experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.\r\nProficiency in container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes, and implementing microservices-based architectures.\r\nDemonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.\r\nStrong understanding of monitoring and alerting tools for application and infrastructure health, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.\r\nExperience with incident management processes, including escalation, root cause analysis, and reporting.\r\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.\r\nKnowledge of federal compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF.\r\nFamiliarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate tasks.\r\nSolid understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles, with experience working in iterative delivery environments.\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nCertifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate.\r\nExperience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices such as defining and managing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets.\r\nExpertise in cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB).\r\nFamiliarity with advanced deployment strategies, including canary releases, blue/green deployments, and feature flagging.\r\nExperience managing hybrid delivery environments, with a mix of legacy and cloud-native architectures.\r\nProficiency in leveraging AI/ML-assisted code development tools to accelerate project delivery.\r\nStrong technical writing skills, with experience developing and maintaining operational documentation such as runbooks and architecture diagrams.\r\nKnowledge of security best practices and hands-on experience implementing secure DevOps pipelines, including application vulnerability scanning and automated security testing.\r\nExperience with event-driven architecture, including message queues or service bus integration.\r\nExperience supporting the General Services Administration (GSA)\r\nPublic Trust clearance is required for this position.Target salary range: $100,000 - 170,000\r\nDisclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
