This role will report directly to the Director – Financial Operations. Duties include daily payment decisions, GL coding, payment application, generating reports, KPI tracking and producing numerous ad hoc reports.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating accounts payable staff members.\r\nOverseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.\r\nMaintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and vendor records.\r\nCompiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies.\r\nSetting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives.\r\nDeveloping, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.\r\nBuilding and maintaining relationships with employees and vendors.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS At least 10 years of high-volume accounts payable experience.\r\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field is preferred.\r\nExtensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nExcellent computer skills.\r\nStrong planning and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to analyze information and processes.\r\nMotivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.\r\nCommitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.\r\nAbility to prioritize workload.\r\nThe base salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees.
