If you're ready to do the greatest work of your life, come join us.\nAbout the Role:\nWing is looking for a Flight Operations Support Coordinator to join our Flight Operations team based in St Louis, Memphis, Cincinnati, or Phoenix for a 36-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will work with Wing Flight Operations Support Manager and Vendor Employee Team Leads to align staffing resource requirements with availability. Your primary duty will be to assist Wing regional or national Flight Operations Support managers in Ground Support scheduling for a group of Wing commercial drone delivery operating sites. You will also support onboarding of new vendor employees as crew members and help ensure crew equipment readiness at Wing operating sites. You will occasionally function as a crew member to support special requirements such as training, maintenance activities, or demonstrations. The ideal candidate has the ability to collaborate cross functionally within small teams, operates with a sense of urgency in safety sensitive environments, and has an innate passion for aviation and the ongoing development of this new industry.\nWhat you'll do:\nReport to Wing Senior Flight Operations Support Manager or Regional Site Lead as assigned and work from the Wing regional central base or local crew base\nPartner with Vendor Employee Team Leads to develop Ground Support and Visual Observer crew schedules for approval\nObtain required compliance records for vendor staff for the Wing Flight Operations training team\nIdentify initial and recurring training requirements for Vendor staff and coordinate with Wing Regional Lead and Wing Flight Operations training team to schedule trainings\nSupport Wing maintenance activities at Wing nests or at Wing's central maintenance facility\nSupport short-notice movement of Wing equipment under 35 lbs between Wing locations\nObtain and maintain qualifications as Wing Ground Support Operator and Visual Observer to occasionally support as business needs\nIdentify nest and crew equipment deficiencies and partner with Wing Flight Operations Regional Site Lead to obtain needed replacements\nOperate a Wing provided vehicle to move between Wing locations up to 2 hours (60 miles) per day\nDirectly support Wing community affairs and government outreach efforts\nWhat You'll Need:\n3+ years experience with scheduling of teams of at least 10 people, including 1+ years operational experience with Commercial Drone operations in the US and 1+ years of experience as a field technician, or equivalent experience\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record\nActive 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate\nDemonstrated ability to communicate constructively, clearly and positively in stressful circumstances\nDemonstrated experience with resource management software such as Deputy or ServiceNow with the aptitude to learn new softwares as needed\nDemonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace (gSuite) tools (gdocs, gsheets, gchat, etc.)\nAbility to perform moderate physical work, maintain attention for extended periods while performing continuous tasks in outdoor environments for extended periods.
