Care Village at West Roxbury, a skilled nursing home in West Roxbury, MA, is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust have Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipmentMust have how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facilityMust be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and proceduresESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentationResponsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixturesResponsible for fire safetyParticipates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetingsFull Time PositionCompetitive Benefits
