The Medical Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling appointments for medical procedures, ensuring that all patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule appointments for medical procedures based on physician availability, patient preferences, and medical facility resourcesCommunicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary information, and address any questions or concernsMaintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for physicians, medical staff, and facilitiesCollaborate with medical staff to ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available for scheduled proceduresMonitor and manage cancellations and rescheduling requests, ensuring that all changes are communicated and documented appropriatelyVerify insurance information and obtain authorizations for procedures as neededMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all timesProvide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues in a professional and timely mannerAssist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferredPrevious experience as a medical scheduler or in a similar role preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling softwareKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance processesAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to adhere to company policies and proceduresBenefitsWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.Equal Opportunity EmployerCommercial Interior Construction, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
