Join us to be part of our continuous success.\n\nGENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:\n\nThis position will perform a variety of tasks related to the assembly details in the production process of heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.\n\nShift Available: 1st Shift – Monday-Thursday 5a-3:30p\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nMaintain a safe work environment\n\nAdheres to all safety policies and procedures; perform tasks in a safe manner.\n\nIn the event of an accident or injury immediately, notify the Shift Lead or Supervisor on duty.\n\nOperate, maintain, and use personal protective equipment and other safety supplies and equipment.\n\nMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies relating to safety, housekeeping and Hazardous Waste Management programs.\n\nWork without close supervision\n\nContact the Maintenance Department to get equipment repaired when necessary.\n\nAbility and willingness to take on additional assignments as requested by management.\n\nCheck results for conformance to print and / or specifications and make necessary corrections.\n\nWork with coworkers in a polite and courteous manner, providing cross training as needed.\n\nAble to work overtime as required.\n\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and independently or as a team.\n\nMust be able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.\n\nMust be able to stand, climb, crawl, bend and utilize multiple tools including but not limited to power tools.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications and Expectations for advancement purpose\n\nLevel I\n\nMust meet and exceed the above duties and responsibilities\n\nAble to work independently in a work cell.\n\nConsistently uses and refers to Work Instructions to ensure high quality.\n\nAble to use power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.\n\nKeeps the work area clean and orderly.\n\nCommunicates effectively with CMT and Supervisor.\n\nProperly scan all parts into the operating system\n\nLevel II\n\nAll duties of Level I in addition to:\n\nCross-trained in a minimum of 4 work cells, or able to perform specialized functions unique to a small number of employees.\n\nAttendance has not exceeded “five (5)” pts\n\nOffers solutions to problems in the work area.\n\nLevel III\n\nAll duties of Level I and II in addition to:\n\nCross-trained in a minimum of 10 work cells, or able to perform specialized functions unique to a small number of employees.\n\nKnowledge of operating systems.\n\nAbility to train new employees.\n\nParticipates in problem solving activities with leadership teams.\n\nEXPERIENCE:\n\nPreferred manufacturing experience\n\nMust be a self-starter, team player and have the ability to multitask.\n\nAble and willing to work in other areas as needed. Suggest and implement improvements. Follow up on details. Seek out productive work when assignments are completed.
