This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.\nAs Operations Reliability Manager for Asset Development, you will stand up and lead Blue Origin's Asset Development Reliability (ADR) function, building reliability into new assets, tooling, GSE, and launch infrastructure before they reach operations. ADR spans two functions, Design Reliability and Asset Introduction, and exists to ensure reliability is engineered in up front. Passion for our mission and vision is required.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nBuild and lead the ADR team across the Design Reliability and Asset Introduction functions, including hiring, mentoring, and developing reliability engineers at multiple levels.\nOwn reliability engineering inputs into the design of new assets, GSE, tooling, and launch infrastructure, including requirements, FMEA, criticality, maintainability, and critical spares.\nEstablish and run the reliability gate for asset introduction, ensuring new assets are commissioned, validated, and transitioned into operations to a defined reliability standard.\nPartner with Design, Ground Systems Development, Maintenance, and Operations to drive reliability requirements upstream into the design phase.\nSet priorities and balance demand across the team's two functions against program needs and the launch-rate ramp.\nRepresent ADR in reviews, escalations, and cross-organizational decisions; communicate reliability risk and recommendations to leadership.\nAbility to support off-shift or weekend work during critical builds or investigations.\nAbility to travel up to 25%.\nMinimum Qualifications\nB.S. degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years in engineering, manufacturing, test, or operations in a complex hardware environment.\n2+ years leading engineers or technical teams.\nDemonstrated experience in reliability engineering methods such as FMEA, RCA, criticality analysis, maintainability, and reliability requirements development.\nExperience driving reliability or design inputs across organizational boundaries with internal and external stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in aerospace, launch, or other high-reliability operations environments.\nExperience standing up a new team or function from the ground up.\nReliability certification such as ASQ CRE, or formal reliability engineering training.\nExperience with asset introduction, commissioning, and transition of new hardware or systems into sustained operations.\nExperience with large assembly and tooling fabrication, ground systems, or GSE.\nFamiliarity with vendor oversight and acceptance, verifying reliability and quality requirements are met before delivery.\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
