The Reality Labs (RL) team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to help develop and deploy high impact retail technologies that power the retail displays and demo devices. These programs drive trial and conversion for our Hardware at the point of sale by allowing customers to try our products and understand them better. This role is responsible for executing the demo strategy of product lines from Meta's RL group that are presented in all consumer facing environments in the North Americas region including: retail and global partner events. The Retail Technology Program Manager will act as the main point of contact for implementing Retail Demo and Display Technologies, operate cross-functionally and manage the strategic design, planning and execution of demos from prototype to end of life. They will manage and interface with internal marketing, third party technical partners, content creators, channel marketing teams and retail partners.\r\nRetail Technology Program Manager, Interactive Technologies Responsibilities\r\nDevelop demo technical requirements for RL retail demo devices and lead the deployment of the product's retail launch\r\nDevelop demo technical requirements for retail display partners in-region\r\nCreate demo best practices training and documentation for developers/partners\r\nHelp develop and maintain scalable retail technology solutions such as content and device management systems\r\nCollaborate closely with Analytics teams to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), set program guidelines, develop/select the right analytics tool, review demo/display engagement metrics and build upon the data to improve the customer experiences\r\nExecute multiple retail demo content and software updates year-round across VR\r\nAssist stakeholders in the evaluation, selection, and revision of retail demo content\r\nPartner closely with the Field sales team to understand potential issues and build tech solutions that are field friendly and support fixture tech maintenance by building troubleshooting documents\r\nDrive alignment between regional marketing teams and the core Demo team to ensure synergy with every demo install and update\r\nPartner with regional marketing to ensure demos meet the requirements and specifications of different retailers\r\nBuild and track program budgets, develop RFI/RFQ documents to support with technology vendor selection, build supplier SOWs and serve as primary POC for technical vendors\r\nManage day-to-day relationships with retail technical support partners and scale the relationships accordingly\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in technical project/product management, or equivalent\r\nUnderstanding of Hardware and Software development processes\r\nHands-on experience with bug and project tracking tools such as JIRA, Asana\r\nExperience building and maintaining project trackers for complex technology programs\r\nInterpersonal, approachable and adaptable\r\nInterpersonal, approachable and adaptable in a complex, matrixed environment\r\nHighly effective at managing conflict and address issues between stakeholders swiftly\r\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Engineering\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nPast Experience in developing and deploying Software in retail environment\r\nUnderstanding how retail devices and interactive display technologies are developed is a plus\r\nDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)\r\nExperience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)\r\nDemonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies\r\nAbout Meta\r\nMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
