Duties
Evaluate insurance applications by analyzing financial documents and conducting thorough risk assessments.
Utilize financial modeling techniques to predict potential risks and losses associated with underwriting decisions.
Conduct quantitative analysis to support decision-making processes regarding policy approvals or denials.
Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation to communicate underwriting decisions clearly.
Collaborate with agents and clients to gather necessary information for underwriting evaluations.
Implement fraud prevention detection measures to identify potential fraudulent activities within applications.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in underwriting and risk management.
Requirements
Proven experience in underwriting or a related field, with a strong understanding of underwriting principles.
Property and Casualty License is a must
Proficiency in financial concepts, including financial analysis and report writing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative analysis effectively.
Familiarity with risk analysis methodologies and fraud prevention techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
