With offices in Orlando and Chicago, our Orlando office is expanding, and we are seeking a talented Architectural Project Coordinator to join our team!\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProduces Constrctural construction documents.\n\nRuns a small project or series of small projects with minimal oversight from a Project Architect or Project Manager.\n\nSolves basic design issues and produces architectural construction documents and specifications.\n\nCompletes designated scope of work within allotted time budgeted.\n\nDelegates, reviews and accepts responsibility for work of CAD Technicians.\n\nAssists with coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.\n\nResearches and applies codes, limited interaction with code enforcement agencies.\n\nTakes initiative to learn new architectural skills.\n\nCoordinates with engineering disciplines, including running a kick‑off meeting.\n\nReceives and assimilates project information from the Project Architect/Manager and the client.\n\nWorks with the Project Architect/Manager to provide the appropriate level of customer service.\n\nQualifications & Prior Experience\n\n3+ years of experience working on commercial architecture projects.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a combination of schooling and drafting/design experience in an Architectural office preferred.\n\nPreparation of construction documents.\n\nGood understanding of zoning and working knowledge of building codes.\n\nArchitectural licensure or path to licensure a plus.\n\nSoftware requirements: AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Sketchup.\n\nLimited travel opportunities (site visits and client meetings).\n\nStrong skills with MS office, and Adobe Suites, any Revit is a plus.\n\nKnowledge and understanding of MEP drawings and systems is required.\n\nGood understanding of the architects’ scope of services.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate with municipal officials, clients and contractors.\n\nExcellent communication skills.\n\nAbility to be a team player as well as work independently.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nOpen and collaborative work environment.\n\nContinuing Education and Professional Development.\n\nActive employee lead activities committee.\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.\n\nShort Term Disability and employer-paid Long Term Disability and Life Insurance.\n\nFlex Spending and Dependent Care Accounts.\n\nEmployee Assistance Program.\n\nHealth and Wellness Program.\n\nPaid Holidays.\n\nPaid Time Off (PTO).\n\n401k with Employer Match, Financial Advisor for employees on ongoing Financial Wellness Education.\n\nPerformance-based Bonus Program.\n\nJoin our team at Interplan and contribute to creating spaces that celebrate Humanity!
