This role is responsible for driving delivery across large, multi-stakeholder environments, ensuring strong governance, vendor accountability, and successful execution of critical systems—particularly in public sector and mission-critical domains.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teamsManage implementations in environments such as:Public sector / government organizationsEmergency management, public safety, or critical infrastructure systemsApply formal project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid models) to ensure structured and successful deliveryOperate within a PMO-governed framework, maintaining required project artifacts, reporting standards, and governance controlsOversee third-party vendors and system integrators, including:Contract compliancePerformance managementDeliverable accountabilityProvide clear and effective communication across all levels:Translate technical concepts into business-friendly languageDeliver concise, executive-level status reportingProactively manage risks, issues, and changes, ensuring minimal disruption to deliverySupport complex system integrations, including telecommunications or alert/notification systems where applicableQualifications & Experience8–12+ years of enterprise-level IT project management experienceProven track record delivering large, complex implementations across multi-stakeholder environmentsStrong experience working within a formal PMO structure with strict governance requirementsDemonstrated expertise in vendor and contract managementDeep understanding of:PMBOK frameworkAgile / Scrum methodologiesHybrid delivery approachesPreferred experience with:System integrationsTelecommunications platformsRAVE – EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEMSCertifications (Preferred)PMP (Project Management Professional)Agile / Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)Expected OutcomesSuccessful delivery of enterprise-wide technology implementations supporting mission-critical operationsFull adherence to established PMO governance, standards, and reporting requirementsTransparent and proactive communication, minimizing escalations or surprisesStrong vendor performance and accountability throughout the project lifecycleEffective knowledge transfer to ensure internal ownership and long-term sustainabilityCore DeliverablesThe Project Manager will be responsible for producing and maintaining key project artifacts, including but not limited to:Project CharterScope StatementWork Breakdown Structure (WBS)Milestone ScheduleStakeholder RegisterRisk, Issue, and Change LogsCommunication PlanTraining PlanReporting RequirementsProvide detailed status reporting on all active milestones and deliverables within each reporting periodTrack and report on knowledge transfer and training activities, ensuring alignment with internal capability development goalsMaintain consistent, accurate documentation aligned with PMO standards
