This role will be responsible for directing the rewrite and modernization of a legacy .NET application from inception through deployment, ensuring the final product meets business, technical, and quality requirements.\n\nResponsibilities\nLead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a software application rewrite and modernization project.\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables.\nApply project management methodologies that promote collaboration, transparency, governance, and continuous feedback.\nManage project scope, risks, dependencies, and budget while ensuring successful execution.\nOversee planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.\nCommunicate project status, milestones, and risks to business sponsors, leadership teams, technical teams, and stakeholders.\nCoordinate efforts across development, operations, security, and business teams.\nIdentify and mitigate technical debt, integration challenges, and project risks.\nEnsure adherence to established project management processes and delivery standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technology-focused field.\nMinimum of 7 years of relevant Program or Project Management experience.\nPMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable Project Management certification required.\nStrong experience managing large-scale software development, modernization, migration, or application rewrite initiatives.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and business stakeholders.\nExcellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with project estimation, planning, scope management, risk management, and budget oversight.\nPreferred Technical Experience\nApplication modernization, refactoring, re-architecting, or legacy system migration projects.\nUnderstanding of application architecture and modernization strategies.\nExperience evaluating legacy systems and integration points.\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies, microservices, and DevOps methodologies.\nExperience using Clarity PPM, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and similar project management tools.\nIdeal Candidate\nExtensive program management experience within complex technology environments.\nStrong background leading modernization or transformation initiatives.\nAbility to manage multiple stakeholders while driving execution and accountability.\nStrong critical-thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.\nExperience delivering projects in highly visible, high-risk environments.\n\nThis is a hybrid opportunity based in Columbus, Ohio.
