Cemetery Grounds SupervisorLocation: Ogden, UT 84403Compensation: $25–$27/hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri - 6:30AM-3:30PMPosition OverviewLead daily cemetery grounds operations with professionalism, respect, and attention to detail. This hands-on leadership role oversees grounds staff, coordinates vendors, and ensures the property is maintained to the highest standard while honoring families and the community.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipSupervise, schedule, and support grounds staffProvide training, coaching, and performance feedbackEnsure safety compliance and quality standardsGrounds & Property MaintenanceOversee lawn care, irrigation, trimming, tree care, and seasonal upkeepMaintain burial sites, headstones, and memorial areasEnsure equipment is safe, maintained, and operationalUphold overall appearance and cleanliness of the cemeteryVendor & Operations CoordinationManage landscaping vendors and contractorsMonitor quality, timelines, and service expectationsAssist with burial preparation and service logistics as neededMaintain inventory and support cost control effortsQualifications3+ years supervisory experience (grounds, landscaping, facilities, or related field preferred)Experience leading outdoor maintenance or landscaping crewsStrong leadership and organizational skillsKnowledge of irrigation systems and landscape practices preferredAbility to manage vendors and multiple prioritiesValid driver's licenseBilingual Spanish speaker a plusPhysical RequirementsLift 50+ lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment operationAbility to work outdoors year-roundWhy Join LindquistRespected, community-centered organizationMeaningful leadership opportunityCompetitive compensationStable, long-term career growth opportunityCompany DescriptionBBSI started as a staffing company in 1972, and evolved into a Professional Employer Organization.
