Made Possible.\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\n\nManufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: •Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards •Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources •Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nIndividuals in these roles primarily focus on directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of others, and mobilizing resources.\nLeaders typically manage two or more direct reports.\nResponsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.\nResponsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.\nProgression within the levels reflects increase in scope and responsibilities as well as growth in business and industry experience, process and people leadership capabilities, and broad technical expertise.\nSupervises entry level and experienced professionals and potentially para-professional employees.\nSets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.\nWorks on issues of general scope.\nProblems faced may be difficult but typically not overly complex.\nAnalysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors and a general understanding of principles in own discipline and potentially a basic knowledge of other disciplines.\nSupports team with day to day activities.\nApplies general understanding of the business and coordinates with other areas to achieve department objectives.\nEnsures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.\nDevelops and administers schedules, performance requirements.\nAssignments are defined by activities and objectives; work is reviewed for completeness and for adequacy in meeting objectives.\nDecisions impact work processes and outcomes.\nErrors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and potentially expenditure of resources.\nInteracts frequently with internal personnel and may interact occasionally with external personnel.\nParticipates and presents at meetings with internal representatives.\nInteraction typically concerns exchanging information and/or scheduling issues.\nSafe Quality Food Responsibilities:\nFollow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.\nReport to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.\nParticipate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.\nFollow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).\nReport any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh School Education or equivalent + 4 yrs related experience\nDisclaimer\n\nThe candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
