CNC Operator 4 level operate, set up, adjust, program, and troubleshoot CNC machines and tooling in a fast-paced environment, ensuring machines run smoothly, work at capacity without issue, and are appropriately maintained. Fisher Barton values our 3C's Culture, working every day to execute Customer Excellence, A Culture of Fairness, and Community Involvement.At Level 4, You will also:Adhere to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethicsProduce product by following work instructionsMachine parts to printChange insertsLoad feed mechanism and change inserts when necessaryCross train other team members on CNC machine operationsSet up (including 3 part run off), operate, change fixtures on CNC VMs and other equipment in a manner which minimizes downtimeMonitor and control machine, tooling, and/or programming to ensure parts meet customer requirementsFollow check sheets and using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and others to measure part features, and to check and/or inspect machining operations and finished product qualityMaintain tooling inventoriesWork with Engineering to program CNC machinesMonitor and control machine, tooling, and/or programming to ensure parts meet customer requirementsMaintain all documentation as requiredThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
