This is a key leadership role with responsibility for quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team performance.\n\n*What You’ll Do*\n\n* Lead daily operations across Anatomic Pathology laboratory departments.\n* Provide leadership and support to laboratory supervisors and technical staff.\n* Oversee hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.\n* Monitor workflow, staffing, quality, and turnaround times to ensure efficient operations.\n* Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Management programs and documentation.\n* Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CAP and CLIA.\n* Partner with pathologists, medical directors, and senior leadership on operational initiatives.\n* Support laboratory information systems, instrumentation, workflow improvements, and equipment planning.\n* Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service.\n\n*What We’re Looking For*\n\n* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Laboratory Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or another life science, with applicable medical technology education, *or education meeting CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing*.\n* Current *ASCP certification* as a Medical Technologist, Histotechnician, or Cytotechnologist.\n* *5+ years of clinical laboratory experience*, including at least *3 years of supervisory experience*.\n* Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, pathology, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.\n* Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n* Ability to work effectively with pathologists, physicians, employees, and other healthcare professionals.\n\n*Why Oculus?*\n\nAt Oculus Pathology, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on laboratory operations while working alongside experienced pathology and laboratory professionals.
