We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance.\n\nWhether you possess a background in finance, technology or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us.\n\nClient is looking to partner with DXC Luxoft to support their Murex Sybase Oracle migration\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOwn and drive the database conversion workstream end-to-end — not just execution, but planning, issue resolution, and delivery outcomes.\n\nDBA activities will include, but not limited to:\n\nEnvironment load(s)\n\nLoad optimizations\n\nEnvironment maintenance\n\nEnvironment upgrade(s)\n\nEnabling new capacity for applications\n\nSkills\n\nMust have\n\nProven delivery of similar Sybase->Oracle conversion projects at major Financial Institutions\n\nStrong expertise in RDBMS concepts including schema design, data migration, and performance tuning\n\nHands-on experience with Sybase to Oracle (or similar) conversion projects\n\nBasic knwledge in SQL, Unix/Linux, and scripting (shell, perl, awk)\n\nStrong understanding of Murex data model, configuration structures, and database architecture\n\nExperience executing large-scale migration cycles including mock runs, reconciliation, and cutover\n\nStrong experience in defining and executing data reconciliation and validation frameworks\n\nNice to have\n\nMurex Experience is a plus;\n\nSQL\n\nUNIX\n\nOther\n\nLanguages\n\nEnglish: C2 Proficient\n\nSeniority\n\nRegular\nRemote United States, United States of America\n\nReq.
