Life's WORC Offers a Great Benefits Package, IncludingVery affordable health and dental insuranceCompany Matching 403(b) programGenerous Paid Time Off policyTuition and text book reimbursementregular incremental bonusesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience assisting persons with developmental disabilities preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work a 3 – 11 shift as well as an 8 – 4 shift (weekends) as assignedAbility to report to the Garden City office and then work in various programs as assignedValid Driver’s license required (any state)Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide ongoing protective oversight to the people we support.Implementation of Residential Habilitation Plans.Provide assistance and instruction to each person we support in basic activities of daily living.Provide training and support for each person we support in accordance with the individual program plan.Lifting required which may include 2-person transfer, laundry, groceries, etc).Mandated reporter required to cooperate with any and all investigations.Successful completion and maintenance of certifications (AMAP, SCIP, CPR).Scheduling flexibility. May be required to work beyond the normal shift.Drive agency vans that are equipped with GPS monitoring systems and demonstrate safe driving practices. Ensure cleanliness of vehicles.
