The position is fully remote and is part of an agile development team to build solutions in support of mission critical applications.Responsibilities:Develop UI components using React/SPA.Create applications and micro services using Spring BootDevelop and propose solutions to modernize existing components and create new components.Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.Improve performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.Research, design and develop prototypes that will support upgrade of the current technology stack to be secure and cloud enabled.Be part of Agile team and work on the entire lifecycle from requirements, architecture, design, development, testing to deployment.Setup DevOps pipelines to deploy applications to AWS using Terraform and Jenkins.Build and deploy solutions using software development best practices.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree plus a minimum of seven years (7+) of specialized experience in software development, architecture and support.US Citizenship is requiredDHS Public Trust clearanceExperience in developing software applications using modern technology stackExpert level Java development experience.Proficient in trouble shooting and root cause analysis.Experience in developing RESTful web services.Experience with Spring frameworkExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with AWSExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, , Ansible, Nexus, Maven, Docker, SonarQube, Kubernetes and similar tools.Experience working with ORM tools/frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
