This customer solution SME is an enthusiastic advocate driven to help our teams and customers deliver better and faster business outcomes.\n\nEssential Responsibilities:\nIdentifies and owns entire technical solution requirements in the development of enterprise-wide data-driven information systems.\nCreates specific technical design, product and vendor selection, application, and technical architectures.\nProvides subject matter expertise on applicable technologies and platforms and leads decision process to identify the best options.\nServes as the owner of complex technology implementations, with an eye toward constant reengineering and refactoring to ensure the simplest and most elegant system possible to accomplish the desired need.\nEnsures strategic alignment of technical design and architecture to meet business growth and direction and stay on top of emerging technologies.\nContributes to the development and management of product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria, and writing user stories.\nEnhance and maintain a systems/solutions architecture for a large data processing and reporting system of systems that supports continued growth and modernization of current data repositories and growing pool of internal/external stakeholders.\nDevelop and design complex solutions, through collaboration, across a variety of data, data-centric applications and/or Big-Data cloud architectures\nDevelop solutions on Agile framework and utilizes modern automation strategies AnalyticOps, DataOps, DevSecOps hyper-automation methodologies.\nResponsible for spearheading (program) continuous innovations, improvements, and a leader of the cultural ethos for the project and/or program (e.g. Advocate for Consumer Driven Engineering).\nHands-On Solution Architect, the final tier-SME for assigned responsible areas\nCollaborates closely with program Chief Architect; May augment roles as Deputy Chief Architect for the program with respect to AI implementation and adoption.\nLeads and manages individuals and teams, providing people management support through coaching/mentoring, 1:1 meeting, and fostering career growth.\nUnderstand and configure enterprise grade platforms—especially those involving AI feature management (MCP, A2A), governance, or model orchestration—ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.\nMaintains governance frameworks that span the full AI lifecycle: policy management, risk assessment, bias/fairness monitoring, audit logs, transparency, immutability, and regulatory compliance frameworks\nAbility to create seamless integrations with CI/CD pipelines, identity/access controls, APIs, repositories, and monitoring systems\nHands-on with enterprise deployment models that ensure data and AI security across PII/PHI, access control, and authorization mechanisms.\nTrain teams and (customer) end users, develop onboarding and adoption materials, and lead workshops to drive utilization and trust in AI workflows.\nAligns consensus from multiple stakeholder groups—data science, DevSecOps, compliance, business, etc. users all around secure AI capabilities and platform value.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nRequirements:\nA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or other related scientific or technical discipline. With ten years of general information technology experience and at least four years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.\nMinimum of 10 years of leading system architecture of complex Data Pipeline and Analytics systems on the cloud.\nStrong experience in software engineering, including implementing engineering best practices, iterative/continuous engineering principles\n6+ years of hands-on data-centric software development experience and designing solutions on complex architectures (Databricks, Hadoop, EMR, Spark, Redshift etc.).\nProven experience dealing with data augmentation, data quality analysis, data analytics (anomalies and trends), data profiling, data algorithms, and (measure/develop) data maturity models and develop data strategy recommendations.\nProven experience designing secure data solutions with PHI and PII and the associated governance.\nExperienced collaborating with customers and stakeholders to present solutions to the user/stakeholder community and gain user adoption\nExperienced designing cost-optimized cloud scalable solutions\nExperienced fixing architecture issues that impact scalability and performance for large systems with large datasets.\nExperienced with rapid prototyping and greenfield project creation\nDemonstrable experience aligning consensus across multiple interested/affected groups.\nDiverse outcomes driven consulting capacity.\nExperience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence\nExcellent verbal and written communication\nExperience working in an agile or SAFe environment\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, residing in the United States\nDesired Qualifications:\nIndustry experience a plus (Medicare, Medicaid, Healthcare, or commercial insurance) or direct experience with government agency Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).\nData platform certifications (e.g., Databricks), Coding Certifications (Python, R, etc.) and/or AWS Cloud Certifications.\nSuccessful applied AI outcomes achieving meaningful and measurable improvements or planned outcomes.\nCertifications/Training involving maintaining, designing, and implementing AI/ML Architectures.\nWorking Environment:\neSimplicity supports a hybrid and remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.\n\nOccasional travel for training and project meetings.
