Kaiker provides development, construction-management, and general-contracting services in Cincinnati, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach from preconstruction through closeout.\n\nThis role supports Project Managers and field teams with project coordination, documentation, subcontractor compliance, procurement, cost tracking, scheduling, and closeout. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.\n\nResponsibilities\nSupport Project Managers with planning, scheduling, project documentation, and execution.\nCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, superintendents, and consultants.\nAttend meetings; prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deadlines.\nMaintain drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, correspondence, and electronic project files.\nPrepare and track subcontracts, purchase orders, COIs, W-9s, workers’ compensation documents, licensing, safety records, and other compliance requirements.\nAssist with bid solicitation, bid comparisons, subcontractor buyout, material procurement, and long-lead-item tracking.\nHelp maintain budgets, commitments, invoices, change orders, and cost reports.\nSupport schedule updates, subcontractor coordination, inspections, testing, utility approvals, and field issue resolution.\nAssist Superintendents with jobsite coordination, quality control, punch lists, and project progress tracking.\nSupport safety, permit, and applicable project-compliance requirements, including Davis-Bacon, Section 3, and MBE/WBE requirements when applicable.\nCollect warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts, lien waivers, closeout documents, and final punch-list items.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.\n1 to 5 years of construction experience is preferred; internships or co-ops are a plus.\nAbility to read construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and bid documents.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nExperience with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Acrobat required or strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, or similar construction-management software preferred.\nStrong organization, communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and time-management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.\n\nPreferred Experience\nCommercial, multifamily, affordable-housing, municipal, institutional, or publicly funded construction.\nUrban redevelopment, infill, renovation, design-build, or CM/GC projects.\nPublic compliance requirements, including prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon, Section 3, and MBE/WBE participation.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to visit active construction sites and work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions.\nAbility to walk job sites, climb stairs or ladders when needed, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience.\nStable bi-weekly pay cycle.\n401(k) retirement savings program with an available employer match.\nFull health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.\nLife and disability insurance options available.\nComprehensive paid time off package covering holidays, vacation, and sick leave.\nAccess to professional career development, technical certifications, and manufacturer training.\n\nAbout Us\nKAIKER DEVELOPMENT + CONSTRUCTION specializes in premium general construction across residential and commercial sectors.
