Business Interns

Business InternsInterns support daily HR operations, including onboarding, personnel file management, interview coordination, and employee engagement activities. They gain experience with HRIS systems, compliance practices, recruitment processes, and the fundamentals of workplace policy. In Accounting, interns assist with reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and reviewing financial transactions. The contribute to audits and financials analyses as well as month-end closing procedures. They gain exposure to accounting software, internal audits, budgeting practices, and month-end close procedures. Marketing interns contribute to content creation, social media management, and branding initiatives. They support campaign development, market research, and digital analytics. IT interns gain experience in troubleshooting, hardware/software support, system updates, and network maintenance. They learn IT Helpdesk workflows, cybersecurity fundamentals, and best practices for technical documentation. Project Management Interns provide support to the Project Managers in scheduling, resource planning, and project tracking. The gain experience through assisting with documenting and monitoring project milestones, budgets and risks. They participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning process and gain insight into the lifecycle of shipbuilding projects, from concept to delivery.
