This paid position offers an engaging environment where your skills in warehouse operations will shine and grow.\n\n_*Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm*_\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data accuracy.\n* Assist with order picking and packing, ensuring items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment.\n* Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety protocols at all times.\n* Conduct shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation.\n* Maintain organized stockrooms by stocking shelves, labeling products, and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.\n* Prepare items for shipment by packaging goods securely, adhering to trade compliance standards and international trade regulations when applicable.\n* Support warehouse distribution efforts by coordinating with logistics teams to optimize shipping logistics and order fulfillment timelines.\n* Perform regular inventory counts using ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software to ensure inventory accuracy.\n* Enter data accurately into warehouse operations systems, including MS Office tools for reporting purposes.\n* Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures during all warehouse activities.\n\n*Experience*\n\n* Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred.\n* Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management software is essential.\n* Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is advantageous; certification is a plus.\n* Basic math skills are necessary for counting stock, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately.\n* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms, and logistics processes will help you succeed.\n* Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications support effective record keeping.\n* Excellent customer service skills to assist internal teams or external partners when needed.\n* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced warehouse setting while maintaining attention to detail.\n\nEmbark on a rewarding career where your contributions directly impact operational success!
