Works with IT resources to assist in data governance and data quality programs.\r\nRequisition Number R155816\r\nEmployment Status Full time\r\nShift Day (United States of America)\r\nResponsibilities Frequently interacts with other TSG departments and internal/external customers on data requests and documents requirements for technical implementation.\r\nUtilizes analytical methods to review data in the data warehouse for integrity and adherence to established governance principles.\r\nWork environment includes hospital areas, TSG Datacenters, data closets and office settings. Must be conscience of all operational and safety procedures.\r\nRotating shifts, including on-call support, working weekends and/or irregular long hours as well as occasional overnight travel.\r\nOnsite is preferred, hybrid or remote work option is available. Candidates residing in the following states can be considered for remote work: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia.\r\nManage multiple, variable tasks and data review processes to support business request for data from the data warehouse with minimal supervision from supervisor and/or manager.\r\nAnalyzes and advises management of workflow issues and data integrity problems and offers recommendations on resolution.\r\nLoads the data dictionary and business glossary with agreed upon terms, metadata, definitions, descriptions, and related values.\r\nDevelops reference materials (application data relationship, BI data models, etc.) for supported data processing technologies to be used for both online and in-person training of other technical staff with minimal supervision from supervisor and/or manager.\r\nManages assigned projects and meets deadlines with moderate supervision from supervisor and/or manager.\r\nAssists Business Analysts with the development of training programs and materials to train end-users and mentor and develop team members.\r\nInterfaces with clients, vendors, and other teams on multi-faceted projects involving data intelligence.\r\nWhat We Require MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, health care systems or equivalent work experience.\r\nMinimum four years' experience in working with enterprise data sources and BI tools in a financial or healthcare environment.\r\nDimensional Databases, Cubes And Columnar Data Structures Experience Preferred.\r\nValid Virginia drivers\\' license and dependable transportation.\r\nA minimum of one of the following certifications are required\r\nCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)\r\nCertified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)\r\nCertified Data Management Professional (CDMP)\r\nData Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)\r\nGood organizational skills, analytical, dependable, detail oriented, interpersonal skills, and understanding of the English language (both written and oral).\r\nMust have thorough understanding of the 7-layer OSI model. Data profiling and data quality analysis experience preferred. Experience translating business needs into data architecture specifications. Experience supporting application users. Experience with Business Objects, Oracle, or Cognos tools a plus. Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere and IBM data models a plus.
