Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely mannerTroubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform engine maintenance on customer aircraftPerform and document work completed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredInspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirementsAssist in other maintenance disciplines – Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.Operate ground support equipment as requiredAssist with mechanical / electrical removals and installationsReturn aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locationsAct as shipping and receiving agent for partsProvide time estimatesAudit your own location and truck monthlyPerform other duties as assignedHow to thrive in this role?A&P CertificateTypically a minimum of 3 years aircraft engine maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experienceTypically a minimum of 2 years’ experience on corporate jet aircraftTypically a minimum of 1 year Bombardier aircraft model experienceAbility to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsAbility to effectively and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status with customers at all levelsOwn Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of toolsMust be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysMust be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideMust have the ability to be available for considerable travel with 2 hours’ notice, to include extended assignments lasting up to 30 days.Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned employees, other business areas, contractors, and customersMust have a valid drivers’ license and be able to maintain insurable statusAbility to work unsupervised and aloneStrong troubleshooting skillsThe ability to obtain appropriate certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as requiredPossess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationallyAbility to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)Ability to obtain a Bombardier Corporate Credit Card and stay in good standing of guideline requirementsPrevious experience in Customer Relations with emphasis on customer facing interactions”Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedureAbility to train other employeesDemonstrated leadership skillsStrong planning / organization skillsNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
