Whether you work directly with patients or behind the scenes in support of the business and its employees, you will use your expertise, experience, and skills to support our patients and our mission.SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing and Pharmacist in Charge, the Clinical Nurse Educator, Staff Development is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating an organized program for staff education directed toward the achievement of professional excellence. The Clinical Nurse Educator, Staff Development will serve as the primary contact person for nursing, professional, and support services staff education and will create professional education resources and instructional leadership for outreach programs directed to health care professionals.Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000/yr (DOE)Schedule: (Virtual) Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST with light flexibilityLocation: Is not required to live in CST state; however, it is required to work the above schedule in CST.Travel: Up to 25% - 35% for various conferences, in-person trainings, etc.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.Provides leadership for the assessment of learning/resource needs and the subsequent establishment of directional goals for hospital staff development that are compatible with service teaching and research objectives.Collaborates with department managers and resource staff using indicators such as new policy development, new technology, patient case study, and quality assurance monitors to prioritize staff development needs.Establishes and maintains a resource pool of health professionals, current health care information, and media and material resources to assist and support staff education and professional outreach.Monitors staff education.Recommends direction and program focus.Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.Maintains effective working relationship and cooperate with all personnel in the Company.Adheres to the Company's compliance requirements as stated in the policy and procedure manual and all other related policies.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assignedFunctions as a liaison with community health professionals to promote professional/education programs and services.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
