Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our production equipment and facilities. The role involves both emergency and scheduled maintenance, requiring a versatile skill set in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Essential Job Functions
Provide immediate repairs to production equipment during operational hours to minimize downtime.
Perform routine maintenance on production machinery during designated service periods to ensure optimal functionality.
Identify and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maintain seamless production processes.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair defective parts, and conduct necessary tests and adjustments to restore equipment to proper working condition.
Execute regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as required to support facility upkeep.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to accurately perform required maintenance and service tasks.
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment to promote workplace safety and efficiency.
Engage in training and development programs focused on environmental, health, and safety issues, particularly those related to the proper handling of hazardous materials and waste.
Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure a tidy and organized workspace, contributing to overall safety and efficiency.
Undertake other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the manager to support team objectives and operational needs.
The night shift hours are Sunday night thru Friday morning, 8:30 pm– 6:30 am with a half hour lunch.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Valid Class E driver’s license (or equivalent) required within 30 days of hire and a company-approved driving record.
Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in varying conditions, including exposure to noise, heat, and confined spaces.
Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy materials and equipment as needed.
Manual dexterity to use tools and operate equipment.
Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods during maintenance tasks.
