Job DescriptionLitigation Secretary - Business LitigationLocation: Irvine, CACompensation: Up to $95,000 (DOE)Employment Type: Full-Time, On-SiteOur boutique litigation firm in Irvine is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to support attorneys handling complex business litigation matters . This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in producing high-quality legal work while keeping litigation operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, revise, and finalize litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondenceFormat, proofread, and file documents in compliance with California state and federal court rules , including e-filingMaintain attorney calendars, track litigation deadlines, and manage court appearances and hearingsCoordinate service of process and manage discovery deadlines and responsesOrganize and maintain electronic and physical case filesCommunicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counselAssist with trial preparation, including binders, exhibits, and logistics as neededPerform general administrative and clerical duties to support the litigation teamQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation secretary or legal assistant in a law firmStrong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures and court filing requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal document management systemsExperience with state and federal e-filing systems (including CM/ECF)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
