That's why we're always looking ahead, and not just to the next project or what's next in our industry.\n\nWe're also looking at what's next for you and how we can help you build a career you're proud of.\n\nHere's how a(n) Manager Integrated Construction Technology for our Seattle office contributes to our team:\nResponsibilities\nEnsures multidiscipline construction models are current and modeling standards are being adhered to, to meet construction needs.\nManages integrated construction resource allocation at the district level and leads department process improvement activities.\nLiaises with estimating to establish and manage staffing resources and budgets for new pursuits and projects.\nParticipates in project interviews and proposal writing in respect to virtual design construction (VDC) & other integrated technologies.\nSupports the setup, management, and best practices of digital workflows.\nCoordinates and manages trade detailing and design deliverables.\nLiaises between design teams and construction teams.\nDuring the pursuit stage, works with the project team to review and recommend scopes that VDC tools and processes can be incorporated into the project.\nParticipates in scoping design deliverables and trade detailing requirements.\nParticipates in the pursuit and proposal of a project including the narrative and presentation material development and delivery.\nCollaborates with design and trade partners to support the development of project documentation.\nReviews VDC and ICT contract language as well as contract requirements around all integrated project solutions. Develops BIM execution plan.\nQualifications\nBachelors' degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).\n8 to 10 years of construction-related experience including 4 to 5 years of Virtual Design and Construction-related experience.\nStrong understanding of construction sequences.\nStrong understanding of and proven experience implementing construction technology.\nAbility to provide project model management.\nIntermediate knowledge of the building construction process and the various building components involved at each stage of construction.\nAbility to ensure the quality of virtual design and construction models from design and trade partners.\nUnderstanding of trade detailing and design workflows.\nAdvanced ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications and translate 2D drawings and specifications into a complete 3D/4DBuilding Information Model.\nAdvanced understanding and training in 3D modeling software.\nExperience with 4D scheduling software and planning tools.\nAbility to write a Building Information Model (BIM) execution plan.\nExperience translating project schedule and scope to create a VDC schedule.\nPCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
