{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"44b3972a60cf17e55fb9e2a2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/44b3972a60cf17e55fb9e2a2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/44b3972a60cf17e55fb9e2a2","title":"Material Coordinator Deepwater GoM","description":"Position: Materials Coordinator- Deepwater GoM\nRotation: 14x14\nCrew Change Location: Galliano, Louisiana\nDanos Expectations:\nA successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following:\nSafety Awareness\nWork Ethic\nTechnical Skill\nCustomer Focus\nOpen Communication\nImplementing Vision and Values\nResponsibilities:\nPurchase stocked and non-stocked materials in accordance with engineering specifications, quality assurance practices, and acceptance testing.\nResponsible for the accurate tracking of materials purchased and providing the ETA to the Maintenance Team Lead & Planner/Schedulers. Ensure that the correct materials are received for each job.\nAssist with any material Invoice reconciliation.\nResponsible for receiving all materials, secure storage of all materials and accurate issue of materials to Planners per work order material requests.\nWorks closely with the Planner / Scheduler and the Maintenance Team Lead to manage inventory and match materials to jobs.\nOptimize warehouse management including: Identifying and securing special storage needs, Reviewing stock-outs and slow moving items, Optimizing stocking levels of faster moving parts and Identifying improvements in existing work processes.\nEnsure proper identification of part and storage location in the field and in the (Future) SAP inventory management system.\nCoordinate physical stock checks and update (Future) SAP inventory management system as necessary.\nTracks performance of materials management (i.e. Repair & Returns, stock-outs and inventory turns).\nActs as point of contact for all Materials Procurement and Inventory Management related issues. This will involve technical assistance to and from Maintenance/Process personnel and/or SME's.\nLearn and practice the APC CMS, (Common Maintenance Strategy) processes: SAP, Planning & Scheduling, Spare Parts Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance & Defect Elimination (RCFA).\nWillingness and ability to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team when needed.\nParticipate in any other additional duties requested or assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead and or OIM.\nQualifications:\nSkills Required:\nStrong computer skills\n3-5 years Material handling experience preferred.\nCycle count experience.\nBasic labor (picking parts, opening and stacking boxes/parts)\nSAP knowledge required.\nSome logistics and POB experience a plus\nBasic Requirements:\nValid TWIC card\nOffshore Experience\nWhy work for Danos?\nDanos offers competitive wages, sustainable health benefits, 401K company match, and opportunities for employee development.\nSounds like your ideal employer?\nApply today!
