Deployment & Installation Engineer provides installation and deployment of customer applications securely across the global enterprise. We utilize a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) model and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) approach.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nYou will be required to perform pre-deployment testing, and Deployment Readiness Reviews (DRR) to validate that applications meet all operational and security standards prior to launch.\n\nUpon approval you will execute deployments of applications using DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to ensure efficient, consistent, and scalable installations.\n\nYou will also coordinate deployments with Government change management processes and collaborate with DoS specialists to optimize configuration parameters and minimize operational disruption.\n\nAdditionally, you will be required to Implement standardized rollback and recovery procedures to ensure rapid service restoration in the event of deployment failures.\n\nThe Deployment & Installation Engineer will maintain comprehensive deployment records, including as-built configurations and SOPs, and provide accurate status reporting on all installation and deployment activities.\n\nQualifications\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n\nThe following are the education and experience required for this position:\n\n5+ years\n\nBachelor's in IT or related field\n\nCompTIA Server+ Certification\n\nSecret Security Clearance\n\nPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:\n\nComp TIA Sec+, ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s)\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nThis position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:\n\nSitting for long periods\n\nStanding for long periods\n\nAmbulate throughout an office\n\nAmbulate between several buildings\n\nStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required\n\nRepeatedly lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds\n\nTravel by land or air transportation up to 10%\n\nAbout Empower AI\nAll hiring and promotion decisions at Empower AI are based on merit to bring the best talent available to contribute to our firm’s overall success.
