Distribution Associate
Performance Health is looking for energetic, collaborative team members to join our team in Indianapolis. Bring your ideas, solutions and desire to serve customers to our new Distribution facility in Salt Lake City, UT.Working within a team, the Distribution Associate accurately performs distribution center duties and completes all assigned tasks productively with a high regard for quality.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesAchieve all packaging, shipping, receiving, cycle counting and picking, inbound/outbound and pack-out metric standardsCreate and maintain culture of safety, teamwork, and ethical business practicesNotify DC Leadership of any unsafe conditions within their work areaEnsure compliance to GDP, GMP, UL Certification, HazMat RegulationsMaintain a clean work environmentUse Voice/RF devices to accurately locate and move material for accurate trackingPerform all DC activities including, but not limited to Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory (All activities must adhere to all associated BOPs and SOPs)Handling customer communications internally and externallyAssist with internal training of process and proceduresEffective and professional communication and collaboration at all timesAdhere to corporate and/or site policies and proceduresDemonstrates initiative and reliability with all job functions, self-starterRequires minimal guidance for all the above duties and responsibilitiesProficient in 75% of DC functions and an outlet for questions from other floor staff on processes and job functionsEager to collaborate with problem solving ideas for issues encountered in the day-to-dayResearch and investigate to rectify missing or incorrect product informationPerforms other duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in a high-volume Distribution CenterAbility to accurately enter and look up information in computerBasic Understanding of distribution principlesAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to multi-taskBasic math skills and logical reasoningWorking knowledge of MS OfficeStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to sit or stand for long periods of timeWarehouse environment subject to variable temperature and noise levelsAbility and willingness to obtain a forklift certification if needed (training is provided)BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly pay rate and the opportunity to earn bonus plus benefits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily.
