This high-impact team is critical to day-to-day operations and has a pipeline of innovative products and technology that will help us lead in the InsureTech space.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and build cross-functional solutions that impact all insurance-related business needs.\r\nContribute to the technical roadmap by developing innovative features and solving complex problems.\r\nProvide technical expertise and input to shape the vision for your area, while executing on product requirements.\r\nDesign and collaborate with multiple partners, both internal and external, to develop and maintain critical services and tools.\r\nDrive and improve the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of critical systems.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, with 5+ years of full-time engineering experience.\r\nExperience in hands-on software development with an emphasis on scale, latency, and distributed architecture.\r\nHighly efficient coding in Golang, Java, or any similar languages.\r\nProven track record of delivering high-quality software and contributing to impactful projects.\r\nAbility to execute on a product roadmap and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\r\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\r\nEnglish proficiency.\r\nAlgorithm & Data Structures fundamentals.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nFull-stack skills, being able to contribute across the frontend and backend stack as needed.\r\nHands-on experience with streaming and real-time data pipelines (e.g., Kafka-like systems, stream processing frameworks).\r\nExposure to machine learning systems in production, including model integration, feature pipelines, or ML-powered decision systems.\r\nExposure to GenAI (LLMs, Agentic systems).\r\nStrong background in scalability engineering, data consistency, and system observability.\r\nTrack record of influencing architecture and technical direction across multiple teams.\r\nSalary and Benefits\r\nFor San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$232,000 per year – USD$258,000 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$232,000 per year – USD$258,000 per year.
