This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs used to manufacture precision components. This role supports production by ensuring programs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with engineering and quality requirements. The CNC Programmer works closely with machinists, manufacturing engineers, and quality personnel to troubleshoot issues, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):\n\nDevelop, modify, and maintain CNC programs for mills, lathes, and/or multi-axis machines\nInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to generate accurate programs\nCreate and optimize programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam or similar)\nSupport machine setup, prove-out, and first-article inspections\nOptimize feeds, speeds, tooling paths, and cycle times to improve efficiency and quality\nTroubleshoot machining and programming issues in collaboration with production and quality teams\nMaintain program documentation and revision control\nAssist with tooling selection, fixtures, offsets, and setup sheets as needed\nSupport new product introductions and engineering changes\nFollow all safety, quality, and manufacturing standards\nVerifies conformance of finished work piece(s) to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers\nLoads and unloads parts, operating multiple machines as needed\nStays on task and ensures current day scheduled work is completed on time\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nSystems Used\nMicrosoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)\nSyteLine\nUKG\n\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred\n3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment\nProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T\nExperience with CNC controls (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, or similar)\nFamiliar with Okuma & ProtoTRAK (preferred)\nWorking knowledge of machining processes, materials, and cutting tools\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work effectively with machinists, engineers, and quality teams\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX)\nExperience with multi-axis machining, mill/turn, or live tooling\nBackground in regulated, aerospace, medical, or precision manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment\nStanding, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required\nUse of standard PPE as required by company policy\nGeneral Notices\nProcess Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
