In addition, this position is responsible for the performance of all duties within the objectives, standards, mission, and policies of Doll Distributing LLC, State of South Dakota laws and regulations governing the beer industry, and brewery/supplier requirements.\nEssential Functions:\nStock shelves, coolers, and displays with products daily primarily at convenience stores\nAssist with unloading products from trailers, by hand or using hand carts\nComply with proper product rotation standards for product freshness and quality\nWork products in back rooms of stores and condense back stock each time in store to always keep these areas clean\nPrepare damaged and outdated products for pickup and return\nSecure, set, and move displays when required\nPlace proper point-of-sale materials on mail shelves, displays, and coolers\nFollow company and brewery merchandising standards\nExhibit strong commitment to the service needs of the external customer\nRepresent the company in a professional and courteous manner\nCompliance with all company safety guidelines\nOther duties as assigned\nNon Essential Functions:\nWork efficiently and strive for growth within stores\nMay be asked to work on evenings and weekends for special events\nEssential Skills and Knowledge:\nMeet or exceed minimum productivity standards established by Doll Distributing LLC\nEffectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision\nDevelop a good working knowledge of product and inventory control procedures\nDemonstrate strong communication, customer relations, and problem-resolution skills\nWorking knowledge of Excel and Outlook and either entry-level (or ability to learn) Mobility\nAble to work with a diverse group of people and customers\nQualifications:\nMust be 19 years of age\nHigh school diploma or GED\nValid Driver’s License\nAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and information\nWorking Conditions:\nPhysical/Mental Organizational Capabilities:\nLift, push, or move product that weighs 1-50 pounds, up to 165-pound kegs of beer – Frequently (Daily lifting of 20,000 to 40,000 or more pounds of product)\nReach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets and hand carts – Frequently\nBend, stoop, squat, and twist while loading and unloading products, stocking coolers and shelves, and rotating backroom stock at customer locations – Constantly\nThe individual in this role must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb stairs – Frequently\nAbility to safely lift a minimum of 24 lbs. without assistance, waist level, waist to shoulder level, shoulder level to overhead – frequently.\nMust have the ability to push/pull up to 68lbs – Frequently\nAbility to lift a maximum of 165 lbs. floor to waist with appropriate equipment – Frequently.\nHandle (Grasp, turn, seize, hold) – constantly\nStep up/down 21-inch step – Frequently\nAbility to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions – Constantly.\nRequires significant demands on these physical requirements throughout the entire work shift with tasks performed in all weather conditions.\nTemperature/Climate\nThis position will spend 100% of the shift in a climate-controlled environment; and may work in coolers with temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 38 degrees.\nPersonal Protective Equipment necessary\nSteel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles are required\nSafety Considerations\nThis position will routinely use a two-wheeler and/or cart to transport product.\nPersonal Protective Equipment Necessary\nMay wear gloves when handling products.\nVisual/Hearing Capabilities\nThe visual ability necessary to read and interpret written information is required as well as the ability to differentiate product types. The hearing ability necessary to communicate with others is required.
