We bring Public and Private, Civilian and Military expertise to every case.\r\nApplication Engineer (Linux Server)\r\nLocation: Linthicum Heights, MD (position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs).\r\nRequired\r\nTS/SCI with a Polygraph.\r\nDescription\r\nPerform Linux server system administration functions.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nStand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.\r\nMonitor and patch/upgrades to Linux servers and AWS instances.\r\nAssist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.\r\nSupport documentation of non-applicable controls.\r\nAssist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.\r\nConfigure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.\r\nAssist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.\r\nDocument inventory changes.\r\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required\r\nAll experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.\r\nProficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years).\r\nProficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).\r\nProficient with Ansible.
