Our research has produced the global leaders in Oral Care and Dry Mouth products, among other premier offerings.Position SummaryThe Manager will oversee all aspects of Production, Supply Chain Management, (i.e., Scheduling / Planning) and other duties in regard to production operations and staff. The manager will be focused on developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources among other responsibilities. This role will also be responsible for collaborating with the Supply Chain and Sales Team to ensure that targeted margins are being met. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Inventory Planning Team on high priority Production opportunities ensuring that we are maximizing capacity to provide the best deliveries possible. Finally this individual must be able to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in the production/assembly area and ensure all projects are delivered in a safe manner, at the highest quality standards, while maintaining budgetary guidelines and strict deadlines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the production process and ensure that production targets are met and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products. Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize production efficiency - Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocolsResponsible for production activities in a Drug and Device manufacturing environment and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, increase safety levels, minimize costs and maintain high quality standardsCoordinate production team activities to meet the production goals (need by times and quantities) as decided by Brand Manager and the Sales and Marketing ManagerProvide effective team leadership during times of change and production ramp upIncorporate private label production and schedules into production calendar without sacrificing the company’s own product lines and their schedulesBuild a strong production team through exceptional servant leadership, while providing a clear vision and inspiring staff to achieve excellence. Manage labor and OPEX budgetDemonstrate the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches by leading and guidingProactively work with various departments within the company while incorporating best practices into the manufacturing environmentMust be able to effectively drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across all manufacturing and assembly areas, ensuring all projects are delivered with the highest quality standards, while maintaining time and budget guidelinesParticipating in weekly status meetings and providing weekly status reportOther ResponsibilitiesAdhere to FDA SOPs for all aspects of production by understanding and adhering to Quality Procedures, which is established by working closely with Quality Assurance personnelEnsure that all production processes follow OHSA, CAL-OHSA, cGMP and other regulatory guidelinesMaintain accurate production records and reportsOpen and truthful communications to all associatesProvide all necessary training and mentoring to production staffTroubleshoot any issues that arise during the production processPromote quality and a high level of workmanshipPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focusThis would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessaryEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in business, manufacturing, industrial or related engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience whereby requisite knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstratedMinimum 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations in an FDA regulated Drug and Device manufacturing environment with a minimum of 8 years of management experienceUnderstanding of & familiarity with FDA, OHSA, CAL-OHSA and cGMP regulations/practices for manufacturing requiredComputer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central requiredAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work independently, be detail-oriented and thoroughKnowledge of, MRP (Material Requirement Planning)Ability to read BOMs and knowledge of inventory movement, raw materials, and WIPVerbal communication skills: speaks clearly and persuasively to convey information effectively; actively listens to understand, asks questions as appropriate and responds well to questionsWritten communication skills: writes clearly and informatively, providing reports, documentation, detailed instructions, or specifications to othersAnalytical skills: identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions or corrective actions; considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate solutions or alternatives; determines how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes; identifies measures or indicator of performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performanceOrganizational skills: Manages and completes duties and projects on time and within budget; plans, prioritizes, and organizes work to achieve production goals and objectives with excellent follow through and follow up on assigned duties and projectsInterpersonal skills: Builds positive team spirit by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships and interdepartmental group commitments to effectively influence the actions of others to achieve production goals and objectivesCompensation & Benefits:Starting Salary $85,000 to $95,000 depending upon experienceSick LeaveVacation LeaveMedical InsuranceDental Insurance401kPowered by JazzHRXqRuvuoaZi
