The Technical Instructor/Courseware Developer plays a key role in supporting each function within Operations and specifically orienting and training of customers on the company’s standard product offerings and service support procedures.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nManage, develop, and implement product, customer and departmental specific training documentation for classroom and virtual training.\nInstruct and demonstrate how to apply Penguin Solution knowledge and develop skills by teaching training sessions, webinars, and workshops.\nGather metrics and analyze data for all documentation and training efforts and follow up for continuous improvement.\nEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.\nDeliver instructor-led training on-site or via remote live training sessions.\nDemonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise on the Penguin Solution product line.\nCollaborate with managers, engineers, and vendors/partners to assess documentation and training needs, certification requirements and areas for improvement.\nCoordinate with customers, engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and product marketing specialists to ensure training accuracy.\nWork closely with SMEs to develop content that provides realistic and understandable context for learning objectives and learners.\nReview, evaluate, and renew existing training programs.\nAnalyze organizational training needs, create surveys, and develop certification tests to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.\nMinimum of five years of experience in technical training, instructional design, courseware development, or a related field.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging learning content.\nStrong presentation and instructional skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nKnowledge of adult learning principles and various training delivery methodologies.\nAdvanced Linux administration experience, including system installation, package management, user and group administration, storage management, and performance tuning.\nExperience with Linux virtualization and container technologies, including KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes.\nIn-depth understanding of Linux clustering technologies, networking concepts, system architecture, and performance optimization.\nStrong knowledge of High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI, and cloud computing environments.\nAbility to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts and technologies.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and technical subject matter experts.\nWillingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.\nU.S. citizenship is required for this position.\n\nLocation\n\nThis is a hybrid position located in Maynard, MA.\n\nTravel\n\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 50%.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nThe base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in the United States is $80,700 - $100,900; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
