Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlan and perform a normal range of setups, fabrication and machining operations on various machine shop equipment including single and multiple spindle drill presses; vertical milling machines, wire cutting, stripping and lug nut machines using standard methods.\nUse a variety of hand, pneumatic and power tools such as screwdrivers, nut runners, wrenches, taps, etc. to completely assemble, gauge, wire, check and pack a wide variety of components for explosion proof products.\nUse all necessary machine attachments; select tools, feeds and speeds according to type of material and finish requirements.\nSquare up and layout production run or special castings for machining operations using available jigs and fixtures to facilitate work.\nWork with close tolerances on a variety of metals such as steel, brass, bronze, iron and aluminum.\nUse drilling tool and replace drill tools and grind drills as necessary.\nAssemble using bolts, screws nuts, washers, etc., file and remove burrs; apply grease to screw threads and screw on covers or oil cover and body; check for tight joints using feeler gauge; tighten bolts on cover; assemble nameplates to covers as necessary with self-tapping screws; assemble switches or breakers.\nPack, label, and seal products as prescribed.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired Basic Qualifications:\nMinimum one (1) year previous work experience in machine operation\nMinimum one (1) year previous assembly experience\nAuthorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.
