Join our travel Physical Therapist team in South Portland, ME, providing home health care to adult and occasional pediatric patients. You will deliver skilled evaluations and treatments for post-orthopedic surgeries, deconditioning, fall risk, and mobility impairments while working independently in patient homes across Hancock County and surrounding areas. Apply now and we’ll connect you with a recruiter who'll reach out with more details.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active Maine PT license required to start the assignment.BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required. Position will cover Hancock County with travel between patients and may require up to 50–100 miles of driving per day.Minimum 1 year of PT experience required. Home health experience preferred but other PT settings will be considered. First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience.Experience treating post-operative orthopedic patients, fall risk, deconditioning, and mobility issues.Preferred QualificationsPrior home health clinical experience.Experience with Netsmart EMR.Assignment DetailsShift hours: 0800-1700.Schedule: 40 hours per week. May be scheduled as (4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8-hour shifts per manager discretion.Weekend rotation: scheduled 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks including Saturday and Sunday.Holiday coverage: facility is open for major and minor holidays; contract expects coverage for approximately 50% of holidays per agreement.Orientation: 1–2 weeks of orientation provided.Floating: clinician will cover Hancock County; travel between patient locations required.
