We are a fast-paced, technically advanced, customer-focused operation creating high-quality, American-made products, and we’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the Team!\nPosition: Pattern Technician\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nSetting up pattern and core boxes to run the correct job\nMaintain and repair minor issues with patterns and core boxes (Bondo/wood working)\nDocumenting and maintaining the workflow going through the pattern shop\nPattern refurbishment\nResponsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area\nPerform other duties as required\nQualifications, Skills, and Abilities:\n1+ years’ experience in wood working (table saw, bandsaw, sanders, and routers)\nAble to read tape measure/ruler\nAble to read Blue print\nBasic math skills: able to add and subtract fractions\nAble to use computer (adapting to new programs/internal systems and using excel)\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance.\nOne year of production and/or manufacturing experience preferred.\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nWork Environment and Physical Demands:\nHandling and Moving Objects- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials.\nControlling Machines and Processes- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.\nInspecting Equipment, Structures or Material to identify the cause of errors or other problem s or defects\nLift and carry up to 50 lbs.\nClose and distance vision necessary as well as depth perception and ability to see colors.\nPerforming General Physical Activities- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.\nIndoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.\nJob Type: Full Time.
