With our proven curriculum and ongoing support, you can be wholly present and equipped to do what you love to do: guide and empower students to be the best they can be.\n\nTutors will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDiagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.\n\nConsult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.\n\nCommunicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress.\n\nDeliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.\n\nAttend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students through the utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.\n\nDevelop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.\n\nEnsure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.\n\nEstablish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.\n\nAttend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.\n\nMaintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nBenefits\n\nAn attractive and robust suite of benefits for eligible employees.\n\nOpportunities for professional development and advancement.\n\nContinued instructional and leadership support for all employees is also provided.\n\nCarefully curated instructional toolkits that shorten the path to great lessons.\n\nQualifications\n\nNon-licensed tutors: individuals with an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).\n\nLicensed tutors: teachers with proper credentials recognized by the State of California as Properly Licensed Teacher.\n\nTutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.\n\nTeaching experience preferred.\n\nUnwavering belief that all children can learn.\n\nAbility to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.\n\nPay Rate\nUSD $30.00 - $40.00 /Hr.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical Environment/Working Conditions: Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs.
