As a Senior React Software Engineer, you will lead or work with project leads to derive requirements and successfully deliver responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications. This role focuses on architecting and building modern React front ends, creating reusable component systems, managing client-side state and data flows, and delivering high-quality user experiences across devices and browsers.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with other team members by sharing experience and knowledge to solve problems\nLook for ways to improve processes and functionality to further deliver increased value to Mindgrub and its clients\nParticipate in all aspects of engineering projects\nSelf-improvement through constant learning\nBe aware of project budgets and timelines\nBe accountable for project deliverables\nParticipate in peer code reviews and provide feedback\nBe accountable for project deliverables, budget, and client needs\nEnsure projects are following Mindgrub standard processes\nInteract with clients on an as-needed basis to provide project updates and information\nParticipate in the new candidate interview process\nResearch and evaluate solutions, features, and related technologies that fulfill project requirements, augment and improve the application, and anticipate future client needs\nResponsible for producing task-level Levels of Effort (LOEs)\nDesign, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript\nDevelop reusable, accessible UI components and scalable front-end architecture\nImplement client-side state management, routing, data fetching, error handling, and performance optimization\nCollaborate with product, design, QA, backend engineering, and client stakeholders to translate product and UX requirements into polished web experiences\nRequirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nRemote; 9:00am - 5:00pm EST preferred; 40 hrs / wk\nJuly through January with potential to extend\nPreferred to have an undergraduate or graduate technical degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field\n4+ years of professional front-end development experience using React and JavaScript or TypeScript\nDepth in experience with React, TypeScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS, and front-end build tooling\nExperience designing reusable component libraries or design systems and managing complex client-side state\nExperience testing React applications with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools\nSound understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (such as Git), and modern development workflows\nStrong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups\nMust be able to attend meetings virtually\nAbility to work autonomously\nCompensation\n$65.00 - $75.00 USD per hour\nBase compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and overall experience relevant to the role.\nInclusivity without exception | At Mindgrub we value and encourage mutual respect and acceptance.
