If you have a passion for healthcare data integration, cutting-edge technology, and solving complex challenges, this role is for you.\n*\nWhat You’ll Do*\nDevelop & Optimize Healthcare Solutions\nDesign and implement scalable, high-volume data integration and interoperability solutions using InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.\nCreate, enhance, and maintain healthcare system interfaces using HL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR, CDA, and X12.\nImplement terminology mappings (SNOMED, ICD, LOINC) and privacy/confidentiality filters.\nCollaborate & Consult\nWork with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define, optimize, and implement healthcare data exchange solutions.\nGuide clients on best practices for health IT interoperability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges.\nEnhance Healthcare IT Infrastructure\nDevelop and implement FHIR Services and interoperability\nDevelop REST/SOAP web services for data exchange and system interoperability.\nEnsure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations.\nDrive Continuous Improvement\nLeverage modern SDLC tools and methodologies to streamline development.\nUtilize GIT, Atlassian, and scripting to improve deployment and integration processes.\nStay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.\nWhat You Bring\nTechnical Expertise\n5+ years of experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.\nHands-on experience with HL7, X12, CCD/CDA, XML, and JSON.\nStrong background in backend web services such as REST and SOAP.\nExperience with SDLC methodologies and modern version control tools (e.g., Git, Atlassian).\nHealthcare IT Knowledge\nDeep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards.\nExperience implementing MPI, Provider Directories, and terminology mapping solutions.\nFamiliarity with privacy and security frameworks in healthcare data exchange.\nProblem-Solving & Collaboration\nAbility to analyze complex integration scenarios and implement efficient, scalable solutions.\nStrong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.\nA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with IHE profiles and frameworks for data exchange.\nExperience working with FHIR-based solutions.\nBackground in cloud-based healthcare applications and API development.\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment automation.\nUnderstanding of database optimization and performance tuning in InterSystems environments.\nPrevious experience working in agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience in AWS Cloud Engineering and Application Development\nExposure to AWS serverless computer services, including:\nAWS Lambda\nAmazon DynamoDB\nAWS Step Functions\nOther related AWS tools and services\nHome Office Requirements\nA minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 1.5 Mbps for uploads is required.\nA private Wi-Fi network with a strong, unique password is necessary to access company data or systems.\nThe company provides a monthly internet stipend.
