Job Description Job Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202Schedule: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (11:00 AM – 9:30 PM)Duration: 13 WeeksCompensationLocal Candidates: From $1,400/weekTraveler Candidates: Upto $2,300/weekPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries and be comfortable assisting in complex procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular proceduresReceive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulationAssist surgeons during a wide range of cardiac and vascular surgeries, including: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)Valve replacements and repairsAbdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairEndovascular procedures (EVAR, TEVAR, TAVR)Carotid EndarterectomyFemoral-popliteal bypass graftVentricular Assist Device (VAD) proceduresMitral valve replacementPericardial window proceduresRobotic-assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgeriesHeart and lung transplant proceduresAortic dissection repairMaintain sterile field and adhere to surgical asepsis standardsAnticipate surgeon needs and ensure efficient workflow during proceduresCollaborate with surgeons, nurses, perfusionists, and anesthesia teamsEnsure proper handling, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instrumentsRequired QualificationsLicensure & CertificationsNBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification – RequiredBCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification – RequiredEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent – RequiredExperienceMinimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experienceExperience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferredStrong background in vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgical casesSkills & CompetenciesIn-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentationAbility to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detail and sterile techniqueExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAbility to anticipate surgical needs and respond quicklyWork EnvironmentHospital-based operating room settingHigh-acuity, fast-paced surgical environmentCollaborative, multidisciplinary teamFor more details reach at jknox@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732-791-4827 .About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a Joint Commission Certified / WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
