BKF has an immediate need for a project engineer with strong technical abilities and experience in land development project design. Ability to plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of technical work in small to major projects. Provide assistance to senior level engineers and project managers in preparing current project status for keeping clients informed on progress and internal reporting. Supervise/coordinate and help lead the team of engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.\n\nBase pay range\n$99,500.00/yr - $135,740.00/yr\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProject Design for Site Development\n\nGrading and Drainage Plans\n\nUtility Systems for Water and Sewer\n\nReport Preparation and Master Planning Studies\n\nPreparation of specifications and cost estimates\n\nRoadway/Street final design package - Plan, Profile, Cross Sections\n\nRoadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans\n\nFederal, State, City and County Standards\n\nReport Preparation and Conceptual Studies\n\nPreparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates\n\nProjects include residential, commercial, mixed-use and public works projects\n\nRequirements\n\n3+ years of experience in site development and design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, roadways, and public works\n\nB.S in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required\n\nEIT/ FE certification preferred\n\nExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus!\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.\n\nWork Conditions\nExposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.\n\nBenefits\n\nThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,500.00- $135,740.00, annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
