Senior IT Business Partner
Cellular Dynamics is hiring for a Senior IT Business Partner. This position plays a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, ensuring that our SAP platform align with and support FCDI's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the implementation of new functionalities in SAP, and subsequently evolution and adaptation to the changing needs of the business.Essential Job FunctionsFacilitate the implementation and support of SAP manufacturing, logistics and quality control functionalities.Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.Conduct workshops to collect business requirements.Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives.Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.Design, and test manufacturing, logistics and quality control processes.Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting software problems.Document functional designs and test cases.Proactively propose business process and system enhancements.Provide consulting services for new implementations and existing support projects.Act as a bridge between business functions and the technical team.Offer ad-hoc training and user support as required.Work independently and may mentor junior team members.Coordinate and support resolution of critical tickets.All other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent experience.7+ years of business working experience in a technology function in manufacturing business process7+ years of relevant SAP Solution experience in SAP manufacturing, logistics and quality control.Understanding of accounting business processes.Deep project management skills with capacity to adapt to a changing environment.Knowledge of biotechnology or biopharma industry regulatory context (GxP).Accepts ownership, and exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.A highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels.Strong humility, listening, creativity, and negotiation skills.Experience working in a matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity.Leading by example, mentoring, and motivating others all around you.Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.Able to align and work with diverse global stakeholders.Up to 20% travel expected (domestic US)Ability/experience to work in a multinational, multicultural business environment.Experience in SAP S4HANA preferred.
