The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nOversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)\nEnsure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met\nMaintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS\nEnsure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift\nPerform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)\nMake recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.\nRespond to client requests\nMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders\nProvide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties\nDisciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel\nMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management\nMake recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders\nMake recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel\n\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\n\nMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent\nMust be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing\nMust be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle\nMust possess one or more of the following:\nService in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard\nService in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets\nMinimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry\nAssociate's degree or higher in any discipline\nBe at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)\nBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors\nDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public\nEffective oral and written communication\nProblem solving\nActive listening\nAssess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately\nCompile, sort, and interpret data\nResearch, investigate, compile information\nMediate conflict with tact, diplomacy\nWrite informatively, clearly, and accurately\nTeamwork\nAttention to detail\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\n\nMeets basic qualifications for Custom Protection Officer\n\nBENEFITS:\n\nHealth insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions\nSchedules that fit with your personal life goals\nOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities\nEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more…\n\nClosing\n\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
