Head/Lead Instructor
Job Description
The Head/Lead Instructor oversees a medium-sized team in an in-person instructional setting, focusing on academic courses such as Math, Reading, Writing, Enrichment, and Study Skills. This role involves direct daily teaching and one-to-one instruction using The Rotational Approach to Learning, emphasizing pencil-to-paper strategies without the use of screens. The Head/Lead Instructor drives curriculum development, instructional leadership, and program evaluation to enhance student engagement and academic success.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine curriculum across academic and enrichment subjects
Lead and supervise a team of 6-15 instructors
Oversee assessment processes and ensure alignment with learning goals
Engage directly with students through daily teaching and one-to-one instruction
Implement The Rotational Approach to Learning using pencil-to-paper methods
Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
Coordinate staff development and training initiatives
Manage scheduling for classes and instructional staff Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in curriculum design and instructional techniques
Proven leadership and team mentoring skills
Strong communication abilities
Knowledge of assessment strategies and classroom management
Conflict resolution and time management skills
