WindWright seeks a Control Systems Engineer II to support instrumentation, data acquisition, and control system development for an existing high-speed wind tunnel. Candidates must have a facility controls background. Experience with aerospace or defense facility design is a strong plus.\n\nIn this role, you will support the development, implementation, testing, and operation of instrumentation and control systems at WindWright. Your responsibilities will include developing PLC hardware designs, programming PLCs and HMIs, overseeing control panel build and installation, and performing tests to ensure that controls function as intended.\n\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nCreate and maintain detailed control system drawings, including DIN rails, junction boxes, cable runs, and wire harnesses\nDesign enclosures, wire routing, and interface panels for control systems hardware\nOversee and contribute to the fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and lifecycle of your designs\nCreate or guide other team members in creating detailed control system drawings\nConfigure and program PLCs and networking components\nSet up and conduct bench tests to validate control system functionality\nIdentify, document, and communicate design requirements, constraints, and risks\nSupport the preparation of business proposals to the US Government and industry\nTravel, as needed, to support the company\nDemonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
